The 2007 Better
College Newspaper Contest awards
will be presented at the annual
meeting of the New Jersey
Collegiate Press Association on
April 10, 2008.
The luncheon will begin at
11:30 a.m. at the
Trenton Marriott Hotel and
Conference Center, located on
Lafayette Street near the state
capitol in downtown Trenton. The luncheon and
awards ceremony should end at approximately 1:30
p.m.
To register for
the luncheon, fill out and mail
the form below no later than April 1.

List on the form the names of
everybody from your school
who plans to attend. Your newspaper will be
responsible for paying for all those who
register to attend because NJPF must pay for the guaranteed
number of meals the hotel will prepare.
The cost is $15
per person, payable either in
advance or at the door. Checks
should be made payable to and
mailed to the New Jersey
Press Foundation, 840 Bear
Tavern Road, Suite 305, West
Trenton, NJ 08628-1019.
Individual first-place award
recipients are invited to attend at no charge as
guests of NJPF. See the
list of award recipients for the names of
those student journalists and list below those
who are coming to the luncheon. Also, one staff member may be
listed below as a newspaper's first-place
recipient in the general excellence and
layout/design categories. If you have a

Please note that the New
Jersey Press Foundation is subsidizing the
cost of this luncheon in order to keep the cost
down for students. The actual cost of the
luncheon is $35, the amount NJPF will be charged
by the hotel for each person who registers.
